As part of one of the largest and most sophisticated fund formation practices in continental Europe, more than 20 P+P professionals devote a substantial portion of their time to sponsors and investors of private equity funds worldwide.
P+P advises on funds pursuing all major investment strategies in a variety of markets, including buy-out, venture capital, mezzanine, distressed debt, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources, life science, energy, education, hybrid, hedge, investment funds, sector and regional funds, captive funds, master-feeder structures, specialized funds, as well as primary and secondary funds of funds.

Our leading position is based on our deep industry knowledge and decades of experience gained in numerous client relationships with private equity fund sponsors, management teams and investors. Our clients have enabled us to develop particular insight into the terms and structures for various types of funds. Some of the more recent of approximately 330 funds on which P+P has advised in 2007 and 2008 are contained in the list of private equity funds on this website. (This list may aggregate several funds under one name or acronym.) In each case, P+P has performed fund structuring, fund opinion, or fund screening services for either the fund, a sponsor, or an actual or prospective investor.
